Thanksgiving Weekend

Made it to the hotel

Finally made it to the hotel, room 710 at The Residence Inn, 210 E. Walton PL. Chicago Ill. 60611.

Its not bad better than a hospital, I meet some people who had transplants in the past 5 days to 1 year. There was some very happy people looking as healthy as u can imagine. One guy was 6' 5" that was incouraging. He went though hell to get is heart so far Im pretty lucky.

Got to get Breakfeast..... Mom says hi.

Gordy, give us all an update after you talk to Kara or Eileen about your transition to the hotel. We'd like to get the address and room number so we can send cards and packages of food to you. If there is anything in particular that you would like let us know.

Anyway, hope you are doing well. We are all crossing our fingers and praying for good news soon!

Hey everyone my infection is clearing up so they will proceed with the defibulater, then I will move into hotel. Mom is going to stay with me as much as possible. And Kim on the weekends.
This will be good for me . Staying at the hospital is not good for me. Too many infections. I heard the hotel was nice. We will be able to cook our own meals. I cant wait to get out of here.

As Deb told you, we made it back okay. Lots of people and cars.
We're thinking of coming on Monday afternoon. Stay at Bonnies and then be with you on Tues. for the move. I have a mamograph on Mon. at 11;45 and we will leave from there.
Let me know what you hear about any changes. I forgot the paperwork for S.S If I remember right the S.S is sending you the release form to you at the hospital???? Please keep asking about you mail. We need to get this going. If you can think of anything I can bring for you, make a list and let me know. We will be calling you.

Hi Gordy - mom and I made it home safe

Hi Gordy
Mom and I made it home safe with only a 25 minute delay. It was very busy downtown Chicago. The taxi driver made some fast manuvers to get us to Union Station on time. Next time if we are leaving on a Friday we need at least a good hour or more to get through downtown. There was so many people making mad rushes to the station, it was like a herd of cattle...

Anyway, it was nice to be with you. As you learn more information please keep us all in touch.

I hope the visit with Dan and Scott went well.

I changed the settings for you so you have admin rights. And I also sent the invite to Tim.
